is one of the leading office supply manufacturers in Europe and an important part of the Schwan-STABILO Group, which is under the umbrella of Schwanhäußer Industrie Holding GmbH & Co. KG. The core competencies of the international company with its headquarters in Heroldsberg near Nuremberg are in the sectors of writing, painting & drawing and highlighters. With more than 1,500 employees, it sells its products in more than 180 countries.
The Project “We need a new intranet!” STABILO International had already made that decision. But what’s the best way to replace an out-dated intranet platform? What do STABILO and its employees really need?
Together with IPI, the company could answer this question in the needs assessment. Existing systems were analysed and the company working methods were determined. Subsequently, interviews were conducted following a target group and stakeholder analysis. From this, specific measures could be defined to determine which topics should be dealt with and in which order. To collate the results of the needs assessment, communicate them and achieve the right results for the employees, the use of personas also proved itself useful in this project.
