The platform is Microsoft’s answer to the requirements of mobile and hybrid working. Here, the well-being, exchange and cohesion among employees as well as learning within the company must be particularly promoted. Microsoft Viva therefore brings together communication, expertise, learning, resources and insights directly in the daily work routine. The platform is supported by Microsoft 365 and runs primarily via Microsoft Teams.

Viva Connections

The personal social intranet serves as the entry point for the Digital Workplace and the "gateway" to modern digital employee engagement.
News, conversations, resources for efficient work: All information, personally tailored to the user, is in a single place. Content is pulled in from SharePoint, Yammer, Streams, etc.

Viva Insights

The aim of the app is to record and increase the well-being and effectiveness of employees.
Insights provides insights into one's own work behavior and thereby derives findings and recommendations, such as focus times or virtual commuting. This is based on Exchange online mailbox data, such as email and calendar data.

Viva Learning

The learning platform makes it easier for employees to find and share corporate training resources.
Learning offers learning content from third-party providers such as SAP and LinkedIn Learning on its platform. Users also receive course recommendations tailored to their role and position in the company, reminders about mandatory courses, and information about learning progress.

Viva Topics

Topics is designed to enable employees to access knowledge and expertise faster and organize it across the enterprise.
The application uses AI technology to discover, process, and manage expertise and corporate data. Automatically created wikis are generated that are easily accessible across all Microsoft 365 apps.
