When intranet content is created under time pressure and in a decentralized manner, it is hard to ensure consistent wording and uniform style guidelines. Without a Copilot license, there is no integrated AI available to revise articles directly and in a data-secure way. To uphold editorial quality, you need a solution that is directly integrated in the editor; without any additional coordination effort and independent from Copilot license models.
The AI text assistant adds an embedded text editing function to the SharePoint editor, without switching tools, without media breaks and without depending on licenses. Texts can be shortened, reworded, translated or stylistically adapted as they are being written. Predefined options ensure consistent language and editorial standards without the use of external AI platforms with access to training data.
Azure AI Services instead of Copilot licence
The web part uses Azure AI Services within the Microsoft ecosystem and is independent of Microsoft Copilot. This keeps content in the corporate context without involving external services or shadow AI. Billing is based on a pay-as-you-go model. The text assistant is available directly in the SharePoint editor, without external applications, without licensed costs or training expenses.
Processing takes place via Microsoft Azure data centers within the EU. The transmitted content is not used for training AI models if the solution is operated via its own Azure OpenAI resource or a Cognitive Services endpoint in the customer subscription.
Function overview: Customize style, edit text modules, translate content
In addition to structured rewriting, the web part also supports the translation of entire text sections. Content can be translated into other languages directly in the SharePoint editor. This eases multilingual communication and supports international editorial teams. Predefined options guarantee that all editors work within the defined language standards, regardless of their editorial experience or linguistic skills.
