Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (MDR)

Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (MDR) is the public broadcaster for Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Thuringia, based in Leipzig. As a member of ARD, MDR produces television, radio, and online content for the three federal states as well as for the joint program Das Erste. The broadcaster operates several radio stations, MDR television, and various digital formats. With studios in all parts of the country and editorial offices in numerous locations, MDR covers a wide range of topics from politics, culture, business, and society.
